My husband and I both grew up in Kansas.  I was in the northwest corner of the state in Colby where I went to college for two years, and he grew up in Lawrence.  Ironically, we met in Oklahoma City in college.  We lived our early married years in Kansas and we still frequent the state to visit family, and of course I paint!   I have hopes to return to the plains around  Colby  to do scenes of  the beautiful sunsets and sagebrush I was inspired  by as a child.           Donna
